In our Senior Classes, we focus on both physical execution and mental discipline. Participants will engage in:

  • Advanced Kata – Mastering forms such as Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai, Empi, Jion, and the Tekki series.
  • Kata Bunkai – A detailed analysis and application of advanced forms, fostering a deeper understanding of techniques.
  • Tactical Kumite – Strategy-based sparring sessions that enhance speed, timing, distance, and adaptability.
  • Instructor Development – Opportunities for senior grades to take the lead, providing correction and support to junior members.

Is this class suitable for younger students?


Yes, committed juniors who have reached the appropriate grade and maturity level are welcome, provided they have instructor approval

Do I need to be a black belt to attend?


Not necessarily. Brown belts preparing for black belt grading are also welcome, subject to instructor approval to ensure readiness

Is instructor training part of the class?


Yes. Senior students often lead warm-ups, assist with junior classes, and develop their teaching skills

Can I join if I've trained at a high level elsewhere?


Certainly! Experienced karateka returning after a break or from other clubs can be assessed and welcomed into our sessions
